What is a credit?
The unit everything is billed in. A 40-stop route costs 120 credits to optimize, 40 to validate,
and 160 to do both. Optimizing costs more than validating because it costs us more to run. A
flat price per stop would have hidden that.
Are routes counted too?
No. Routes are free. Only the stops inside them are priced, so ten routes of twenty stops cost
the same as one route of two hundred.
Do I pay to check on a job?
No. Polling a job, reading your fleet and checking your usage are free. Charging for the poll
would make a slow answer cost more than a fast one.
Am I charged if a request fails?
Credits are reserved when the request is accepted, and given back if it cannot be queued
or for any route the engine fails to plan. Every refund shows in your activity next to
the charge it reverses. A route identical to one already run this month is not run again
and costs one credit.
A request refused for being over a limit costs nothing at all.
What happens when I hit a limit?
The request is refused with an error that says which limit was hit, what remains, and when it
resets. Nothing is queued or billed, and no work is dropped without telling you.
Do the plans differ in what they can do?
No. Every plan has the whole feature set and calls the same optimizer against the same traffic
model, at the same credit rate. A bigger plan buys volume and larger single requests. It does
not buy a better answer.
Can I change plan mid-month?
Yes. Limits move immediately and the month's usage carries across, so an upgrade does not reset
what you have already spent.
Is there a free trial?
We provision a trial account on request with enough allowance to run your own sheets
through and compare the result against how the day actually went.
